Kateryna Prokopenko

Kateryna Prokopenko is a strategic and people-focused executive with more than 15 years of leadership experience across commercial, nonprofit, and international organisations. She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Board Member at Wine Bureau (goodwine), Ukraine’s leading importer and retailer of wines, spirits, and fine foods.

Throughout her career, Kateryna has led large-scale transformation, governance, and people-development initiatives, combining operational excellence with a deep commitment to human potential. She has guided organisations through growth, crisis, and cultural change - most notably steering her company through wartime disruption while maintaining full employment and sustainable performance.

Her professional expertise spans strategy and execution, organisational design, governance, and leadership development. A graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business’s STERN Leadership Academy and the Swedish Institute’s Management Programme, Kateryna continues to champion values-driven leadership and the link between wellbeing and long-term success.

Passionate about mental health advocacy, she joined the Grae Matta Foundation as a Trustee in 2025 to help strengthen governance, strategy, and cross-sector collaboration in advancing mental health standards in education and the workplace.
